Itinerary Description

Grade: Difficult
Location: India
Maximum Altitude: 4410 mts
Duration: 9 Days
One of Kashmir's Himalayan regions' less travelled utopias is Warwan Valley. No other hike even comes close to matching the breathtaking grandeur of Warwan valley when compared to the Himalayan scenery as a whole. With so many different locations and scenes, it is a comprehensive package. The breathtaking crossing from Leh to Kashmir is the cherry on top of the journey. The trek's virginity, lack of commercial components, and the fact that only a small number of professionals, even from the adventure business, have seen its beauty up until now make it remarkable. Even Kashmiri natives have never heard of the name or visited the location. What distinguishes the Warwan Valley hike as a full package? Trekkers visit several areas of the Himalayas to view a variety of landscapes as they are touring the mountain range. People travel to Ladakh for glaciers, Manali for meadows, and Uttarakhand for mountains. Warwan Valley is a hidden gem that can be reached in one trip and contains everything. The journey begins with a breathtaking drive via Kargil and Suru Valley from Leh. After spending the night in Panikhar, we travel for the first few days through vast river delta basins, vivid meadows, enormous glacier lakes, moraine parts, and silky streams. We then proceed to walk through the enormous Kaintal glacier and enter the Kashmir Valley after having traversed the enormous pass. On the final day of the trek, we traverse some historic Kashmiri villages. The enormous expanses, wandering alongside vast streams, shiver-inducing river crossings, strolling through adorable villages, walking on ice, viewing glaciers, and hiking on steep hills are a few of the captivating aspects here. Additionally, pay attention when the golden-brown marmot calls out to you and don't miss the wagtails' dance. They are beautiful to see. The things we see on the Discovery channel actually come to life here if you look closely. The Warwan Valley walk is classified as moderate to tough level 5 on the Bikat Rating Scale. We travel a distance of around 20 kilometres each day through challenging moraine terrain while on the hike. It may be quite difficult to navigate the lengthy, gruelling treks, tight scree passages, tight ridge hikes, and steep descents. It needs proper preparation and a minimum degree of physical condition. Although it requires some technical talent, it is not for beginners.
