Itinerary Description
When the name “Everest” comes up, the mind is filled with the thoughts of a majestic mountain structure which has been the challenge to the mankind over the centuries. None dared to challenge its might until the last century when the human foot fell on the top of its peak. From then on the peak has drawn number of expeditions to its height. The experience and expertise gained by the humans over the decade have been instrumental in scaling the Everest summit. Touted as one of the most difficult peaks, even the ascend to its base camp is quite the challenge.
The footfall to the Everest base camp has increased over the recent years. The EBC trek attracts the people from world over. The EBC trek packages have been designed as per the requirements of the mountaineers from world over. Nestled in the Khumbu region of Nepal, the Mt EBC trek is one of the three most popular treks in the entire region. It is a difficult trek to climb where ascends to the camp passes through complex terrain. There are two base camps to Mt Everest- The South Base camp in Nepal at an altitude of 5364m & North Base camp in China at height of 5150m. The footfall is prominent on the Nepal side due to the ease of the resources and friendly policy of the government.

Best Time: The best time to scale the summit is during the month of March to October. At this time of the year the summit provides the best conditions suitable to scale the summit.
The summit presents a demanding difficulty due to the tough landscape that one has to counter on the move. The air thinning will also pose a major challenge. Thus it is necessary to acclimatize properly to with stand the unpredictable conditions.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu:
You will be travelling to Kathmandu, capital city of Nepal. Here all your formalities in relation to expedition ahead will be done. Also you will be required to change your currency to Nepal rupee.
Day 2
Day 2 Kathmandu to Phakding via Lukla:
This is the combined journey of flight and foot from Kathmandu to Lukla and from there to Phakding by doing trekking. At Lukla, we are supposed to present first of our two permits before proceeding ahead.
Day 3
Day 3 Phakding to Namche Bazar:
The route to Namche Bazar from Phakding is composed of path with lots of ascends and descends. The route will take you to Namche Bazar which is the administrative point of Khumbu region. We will stop at Namche Bazar for our overnight stay.
Day 4
Day 4 Namche to Tengboche:
From Namche you will proceed to Tengboche which is a small village. This will require trekking along the way laden with stones. The route is composed of several high and low points which will be the test of the strength.
Day 5
Day 5 Tengboche to Dengboche:
The route from Tengboche to Dingboche passes through Pangboche, a small village where you will take the tea or lunch break. For the entire route you will be doing the trekking which will help in getting adapted to the environment.
Day 6
Day 6 Acclimatization exercise:
The stay at Dingboche will help you in greater degree of acclimatization with the environment. It is important to develop adaptability as with the rising altitude you will be encountering more difficult situations.
Day 7
Day 7 Dingboche to Thukla:
A trek of 5 km which passes through a flat trail. However since there are no facilities available on route, it is important to carry the enough supplies.
Day 8
Day 8 Thukla to Labouche:
This route is composed of the steep climb which will be a good exercise for you. After that it is a flat trail for you to your next destination
Day 9
Day 9 Labouche to Everest base camp:
There will be fair amount of trekking to be done along the route from Labouche to Everest Base Camp through Gorakshep. You need to do some amount of trekking to climb up to the base camp.
Day 10
Day 10 Gorakshep to Pheriche via Kala Patthar:
This stretches from gorakshep to Kala patthar iis a difficult trail to pass through. It will also provide the spectacular view of Mt. Everest. From here on we will proceed to Pheriche through 1300m descent.
Day 11
Day 11 Pheriche to Namche Bazar:
The descent to Namche Bazar from Pheriche iis a moderate one which gives beautiful view of the mountains and valley.
Day 12
Day 12 Namche Bazar to Phakding:
This will be the last leg of the entire expedition which will take you back to Phakding via Lukla. The journey will take the same route as was the earlier one.
Day 13
Day 13 Phakding to Kathmandu:
The expedition ends with the spirit of triumph and feeling of having achieved an experience of lifetime. You got to Kathmandu for your departure from the expedition.

Day 14 Reserve day:
To accommodate any changes in schedule.

This makes it mandatory for you to have high-altitude experience of preferably multiple treks marked at level 3 on the WIMRS.
