Itinerary Description

Grade: Easy
Location: India
Maximum Altitude: 0 mts
Duration: 7 Days
Introduction Ali and Bedni Bugyal is a brilliant alternative until the ban on the Roopkund trek stay. The trek is the truncated version of Roopkund Trek, giving you plenty of time to savor the undulating beauty of the country?s most beautiful meadows - Ali and Bedni Bugyal. On the Roopkund trek, the meadows have to share the limelight with the mysterious lake. However, on this trek, they remain the main attraction. The meadows are like the most beautiful park one can imagine at an altitude of 3,500 meters. Ali Bedni Bugyal trek is less challenging than the Roopkund trek, thus deeming it fit for first-timers. Best Time to Trek The best time to go on the Ali Bedni Bugyal trek is May-June and September-October. The trail remains closed during the rest of the months due to snowfall and monsoon season. Summer: May-June is the perfect time if you wish to see the meadows blooming in green and yellow. The snow melts away, and the tiny flowers burst out of the ground giving you a red-carpet welcome. Autumn: September-October is the time with clear skies. You get the perfect panoramas from the ridge, not a cloud obstructing the views. The landscape changes from lush green to autumn red. Difficulty Level In comparison to the Roopkund trek, the Ali Bedni Bugyal trek is much easier. Nevertheless, it has some steep sections and long walks that first-timers may find tiring and challenging. Good stamina and prior experience will help you keep up with others and enjoy views instead of stopping ever so often to catch your breath.
